This year’s ‘Routes of Remembrance’ event is organised to help support Veterans attend and send tributes to poignant remembrance ceremonies each year. The Veterans Charity had great success with last years’ ‘Poppies to Paddington’ event, so this year the tributes have evolved with the charity partnering up with many organisations, military units and community groups to create this inclusive, very special event. Wreaths and tributes have been touring the UK and significant overseas locations, which are have led up to this week’s remembrance day services.
Pury Erskine Ltd is helping the charity to offer transport to veterans wishing to attend the Remembrance Day memorial in London in person, as well as wreaths that will be travelling with Veterans to London to be laid in tribute during the ceremonies on 11th November.
Ian Graham, director of Pury Erskine Ltd said “Pury Erskine Ltd is delighted to be able to sponsor the Veterans Charity’s ‘Routes to Remembrance’ event. We are committed to supporting veterans, current serving military personnel and their families as well as reservists. Being able to show our support via the Routes to Remembrance event is entirely in line with the firm’s pledge as set out in the Armed Forces Covenant.”
For those wishing to help support the charity’s work, Pury Erskine Ltd has created free Remembrance printouts, which you can download at the end of this post with a suggested donation of £2 going to the Veterans Charity or The British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.
