Pury Erskine Ltd has achieved the prestigious Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Silver Award for 2022.

The award, given to 22 organisations across the East Midlands Region, recognises our action to support currently serving troops, service families, veterans and cadets. Pury Erskine’s Managing Director Ian Graham, and Armed Forces Champion Allan Steele WS attended a regional awards ceremony on 29th September at the Northampton University to receive our award.

To achieve the award, organisations must pledge and align their values to the Armed Forces Covenant, and demonstrate their support to serving and veteran armed forces personnel and their families.

Ian Graham, Managing Director of Pury Erskine said: “We are absolutely delighted and humbled to receive such a prestigious national award. This award demonstrates the depth of our commitment to the Armed Forces, their families and the Veteran’s community. It will also be a constant reminder to us, to do our best for those who are serving, or have served our country.

Allan Steele WS, Pury Erskine’s Armed Forces Champion, said: “I have been campaigning for years to bridge the gap between the Armed Forces community and the legal profession. That is precisely what we are doing here at Pury Erskine. It is due to the company’s solid commitment to the Armed Forces that I decided to join it. Speaking as a veteran myself, I know that more needs to be done and I am proud to be with a practise that is leading the way in that regard.”.
